Consulting Project

Oracle ERP Audit/Implementation Turnaround

The Situation: Harvard, ERP requested the support of the ARI Group to assist in the turnaround of a failed ERP implementation. We were asked to bring forth what they defined as the technical consulting “A Team”. ARI responded with a consulting team of six consultants who were experts in the Audit, Financial Reporting, Implementation, turnaround process.

The Scope of Work included Process Re-engineering, Financial Reporting, Audit Process, and Monitoring Accounting Chart of Account linkage to all Financial Modules. This work effort required the documentation of end-to-end testing of all Accounting Operational procedures for GAAP, FASB, SOX compliance matters.

Harvard, ERP needed a consulting team that possessed cutting edge finance and accounting technical skills, hands on compliance and risk assessment skills, strong project management skills and excellent executive presence. Their client was in a critical failure state and needed a consulting team to help them take corrective action. Harvard, ERP did not possess the
talent pool that was required.

The Solution: The ARI Group responded and within 4 days had the “A Team” of six expert consultants who were committed and ready to travel nationwide to support the contractual request of Harvard, ERP. Our dynamic Skill Matrix provided for some of the talented consultants and then our network outreach provided for the rest of our consulting team with 5 other technical finance/accounting, consulting experts ready to back us when called upon.

Our consulting team discovered and corrected critical process and compliance issues. Through detailed analysis, audit, and reconciliation, critical policies and procedures were documented. Gap analysis was created and corrective action brought the
companies accounting operations procedures into full compliance.

Key Benefits of this Project: Harvard, projects and we are now supporting a critical PeopleSoft implementation audit review. We are building and strengthening this relationship as we have done with many other long term relationships; through effective / efficient operations and by listening, acting and responding.
